Junk removal FAQ

The questions customers ask most — pricing, scheduling, what we haul, and how service works across Southern New England.

Pricing & estimates

How much does junk removal cost?

Most junk removal is priced by volume — how much space your items take up in the truck — plus access and any special disposal needs. Every job is different, so we give a free estimate before work starts.

Call 401-559-9834 or email us with photos or a quick description of the job.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates are free and no-obligation. Tell us what needs to go, where it is, and your town — photos help when you can send them. We confirm the price with you before we start loading.

Are there hidden fees?

No surprise add-ons after you approve the quote. If something unusual shows up on site — hazardous materials we can’t take, or a much larger load than described — we’ll talk through it before continuing.

Scheduling & process

How does the junk removal process work?

Call or email for a free estimate. We schedule a window, show up with our own trucks and crew, confirm what’s coming out and the price, then do the lifting, loading, and haul-away. We leave the space broom-swept when we’re done.

What is Keep or Kick™?

Keep or Kick is our guided sorting service for when you’re overwhelmed and don’t want to sort everything before we arrive. We work through the space with you at your pace — KEEP what you want, KICK what goes. Then we haul the Kick pile, clean the space, and help put Keep items back. Learn about Keep or Kick.

Do you offer same-day or next-day service?

Often yes, when the schedule allows. Service is available 24/7 across Southern New England — call anytime and we’ll work out the soonest window that fits the job.

Do I need to be home during junk removal?

Someone should be available at the start to confirm access and approve the estimate — especially for items inside a locked home or garage. Once the scope is clear, many customers don’t need to stay for the whole haul. Property managers and realtors can arrange access in advance.

Do I need to move items to the curb?

No. We carry items out from where they are — attics, basements, garages, sheds, yards, and upstairs rooms. You don’t need to stage everything at the curb.

What we take

What items do you take?

Household and commercial junk, furniture, mattresses, appliances, garage and basement clutter, yard debris, construction and demolition debris, shed and barn contents, and full property cleanouts. If it’s non-hazardous and you need it gone, ask — we can usually haul it.

See junk removal & cleanouts for more detail.

What items can’t you take?

We generally can’t take hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals, solvents, fuels, wet paint, propane tanks, and medical or biohazard waste. Rules can vary by disposal facility — if you’re unsure about a specific item, call before the appointment and we’ll tell you straight.

Do you recycle or donate usable items?

Yes when we can. Usable pieces may be donated or upcycled through our retail side; recyclables are sorted when facilities allow. What’s left is disposed of responsibly. Either way, you get your space back.

Do you handle demolition and estate cleanouts?

Yes. Beyond junk removal we offer demolition (including sheds and barns), power washing, estate cleanouts, and estate sales. Tell us what the property needs and we’ll scope the right mix.

Service area & hours

What areas do you serve?

All of Southern New England — Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts — from our Coventry service base at 113 Tiogue Ave, Unit 4 (retail store is Unit 8). Browse service areas for town pages. If your town isn’t listed, call anyway.

What’s the difference between store hours and service hours?

They’re separate doors — and separate Google listings — on the same Coventry complex:

  • Service: 113 Tiogue Ave, Unit 4 — junk removal and field work, available 24/7
  • Store: 113 Tiogue Ave, Unit 8 — retail & valuables, Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM – 5 PM

Call anytime if you’re not sure which one you need — same family, same phone.

Do you serve commercial properties and realtors?

Yes. We handle commercial cleanouts, rental turnovers, and realtor pre-sale clears. Detailed invoicing is available — contact us to schedule.
